AC Milan fullback Davide Calabria hailed coach Stefano Pioli's tactics after winning the Serie A title.

Victory at Sassuolo saw Milan finish two points ahead of Inter Milan at the top of the table.

"There is everything in my heart, we have made sacrifices, the last few years have been difficult, but we've reaped the rewards of our work," Calabria told DAZN.

“The coach has allowed Theo and me to be free. We have a tricky playing style for opponents. I used to play as a central midfielder, so I am accustomed to playing in the middle of the pitch.

“This is a fantastic group. We've done everything we could, maybe even more. It's a reward for what we've done. I am proud of this team.

“The group has been crucial. You don't win without a group. Leao has improved a lot. He is a different player. He must continue like this."
