Cagliari have sacked coach Zdenek Zeman.

Cagliari made the move with the team sitting 18tht on the table.

"Cagliari Calcio announces that Zdenek Zeman has left as Coach of the first team with immediate effect," the club confirmed in a statement on its official website.

"The club would like to thank the Coach and all his staff for the work done in recent months with great dedication and professionalism."
