Cagliari owner Tommaso Giulini was left frustrated after their 1-1 draw with Napoli.

Gaston Pereira had Cagliari ahead until Victor Osimhen's 87th minute equaliser.

Giulini said, “The thing we regret most this evening is not having given the three points to our wonderful fans. There are moments of the match when I got excited, because there was an unconditional support and winning against Napoli would have been great.

“It's complicated because this game comes after Fiorentina, when we deserved to win. This is the third draw we can complain about, Napoli had one shot on goal in the whole match.

“There is a great squad, we believe we can do so well if we maintain humility. The emblem of this team are players like Altare and Deiola, who represent well the desire of the whole team to reach the goal.

“There has been great work by the coach, but above all a change in the mentality of the team. This is a working team that knows what to do. Probably before there were some people not involved enough within our family."
