Leeds United reportedly must make a 'big sale' before they can buy Nahitan Nandez.
The Whites have tracked Cagliari midfielder Nandez for months.
Inter Milan are also interested in the Uruguay international.
Centotrentuno says Leeds must raise funds before being able to purchase the 25-year-old.
Speaking to the same outlet, Nandez acknowledged that Leeds were interested in signing him.
"Italian football teaches you things that I did not know in other leagues, I feel good physically, happy for me, for the team. The rumours about Leeds? I heard, but honestly I don't know anything yet and I have my head in the Copa and in reaching the goal," Nandez told Cento Trentruno.
