Cagliari have signed teenage striker Han Kwang Song to their primavera team.
Han becomes the first North Korean to play for an Italian club.
A statement on the Sardinians' official website explains the 18-year-old is “an ambidextrous forward, with good dribbling, an eye for goal and vision".
He won the Asian Under-16 Championship with North Korea in 2014 and “impressed international observers" at the U17 World Cup a year later.
Han is also Cagliari's first-ever Asian player, given Radja Nainggolan chose to represent Belgium over Indonesia.
