Cagliari boss Gianfranco Zola was left frustrated after their defeat to AS Roma.
Cagliari lost 2-1 on home turf, snatching a late consolation goal with debutant Paul-Jose M'Poku.
"It was more or less what happened against Atalanta last week. We controlled much of the game, but didn't score," Zola told Radio Rai.
"We just weren't clinical enough. You can't afford to do that against Atalanta, so you certainly can't with Roma.
"In any case, I am satisfied with the overall performance and we are improving, but need to finish our chances."
