Cádiz defeated Celta Vigo with a 2-1 victory on Friday at the Estadio Municipal de Balaidos.
Both teams arrived at the match from previous defeats in the league. Celta were looking to get back to winning ways after losing their last game 5-2 to Real Madrid. Cádiz lost 2-0 in the last match against Real Sociedad.
Cádiz started the game well, with Anthony Lozano finding the net after 38 minutes. Cádiz then netted once more and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Alfonso Espino just before half-time.
Celta struck in the second half, thanks to a goal from Santi Mina in the 64th minute, leaving the final score at 2-1.
After the result, Celta are in 18th place, with one point from five matches, while Cádiz sit in 11th, with five points from five.
