BVB coach Stoeger admits Arsenal target Aubameyang could face Freiburg

Borussia Dortmund coach Peter Stoeger says Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could face Freiburg.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is confident of getting a deal for Aubameyang done before Wednesday night's deadline - and is prepared to offload Olivier Giroud to finance a deal for Jonny Evans.

However, Dortmund boss Stoeger has welcomed the frontman back into the fold and is ready to throw him into the starting XI at the weekend.

He told BILD: "It comes to what I have always said in the past few days: If Auba trained well all week long, if he is clear and focused, then he is an indispensable part of our squad.

"Auba has a very good, very concentrated and professional training week behind him and has always given the impression that he wants to give everything against Freiburg for BVB.

"And because that's the case, we would like to use its quality, of course."
