BVB chief Zorc opens door to Reinier Jesus Real Madrid return

Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc admits they could cut short the loan of Real Madrid midfielder Reinier Jesus.

Reinier is on a two-season loan at Dortmund, but has struggled for minutes this season.

Signed a year ago by Real Madrid from Flamengo, Reinier spent the remainder of last season in Spain before being sent to Dortmund in August. The agreement was for a two season free loan, but things have turned sour for a frustrated Reinier and his support team.

So far this term, Reinier has managed just eight appearances for Borussia Dortmund - with just four games in the Bundesliga. He's yet to score a goal nor create an assist for his loan club.

Given the situation, Zorc and his fellow football chiefs at BVB concede things may need to change.

Zorc told Sport1 via Le 10 Sport: “We don't want to break the loan.

"But of course we will listen to everyone. If someone is not satisfied because they have too few opportunities, let us know.

"But we will not take this initiative."

Reinier, still 18, has a contract with Real Madrid to 2026, though is yet to taste senior football with the Spanish giants. He spent last season with Castilla.
