BVB chief Kehl reveals future of Man City target Haaland decided next week

Borussia Dortmund chief Sebastian Kehl believes the Erling Haaland saga will be over soon.

The German club have always been adamant about wanting to sell Haaland early in the transfer window, given he has a release clause in his contract that activates this summer.

Manchester City are the club closest to his signature, per media reports around Europe, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain also interested in the Norway striker.

Dortmund's Kehl, who will take over as sporting director in the summer, told Sport1: "I know what is in the contract, we are bound by the exit clause.

"We have tried in the last few months to reach a decision on Erling's future. But then came the death of Mino Raiola.

"Unfortunately, the issue has dragged on a bit. But I think we will have clarity in the next week."
