Manchester United legend Gary Neville's first senior coaching role is set to be as England manager.
That's the claim of Three Lions legend Terry Butcher.
Butcher, who won 77 caps for his country, told the Daily Star Sunday: "Roy Hodgson's grooming Gary Neville on his staff and he could be England manager when Roy leaves.
"We've never had that with England. Germany did it with Jurgen Klinsmann and Joachim Low - and look how that turned out.
"It's very positive.
"It might be a bit premature to talk about a new contract for Roy but you need some stability.
"The players need to know which manager is going to be there."
