The Express reports that Burton Albion boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink wants to bring Patrick Thistle striker Kallum Higginbotham to the Pirelli Stadium.

According to the report, the striker has a new deal on the table from Thistle but is unlikely to sign an extension amid interests from Scottish side Kilmarnock as well as League One new boys Burton.

Hibs and English side Rochdale are also reported monitoring his situation closely but Hasselbaink, who led Burton to promotion via their League Two title, is eager to work alongside the 25-year old.
