Burton Albion academy chief Dan Robinson has revealed they'll face Liverpool U18 for Steven Gerrard's first game in charge.
It will be Gerrard's first game in charge of Liverpool and will be played behind closed doors.
Robinson said: “It's a great opportunity for our players to test themselves against a Premier League academy and play at St George's Park for the first time this season.
“We have got the whole season at St George's Park and this is the first game and I understand that it is on the main pitch, so it will be good for them to experience that.
"To play Steven Gerrard's youth team in his first game in charge is exciting , but this is also a good opportunity for the entire club to show how far we have come as an academy.
“We are all looking forward to it."
