Stoke City midfielder Maurice Edu is being linked with a move to Turkey.
The 26-year-old midfielder has been given all of nine minutes of game time at the back end of a 0-0 draw at Anfield against Liverpool in October.
Istanbul media sources say Bursaspor are closing in on the USA international.
Edu is wanted as a replacement for new Sunderland signing Alfred N'Diaye.
