Burnley striker Jonathan Walters is close to agreeing a loan deal with Ipswich Town for the first half of the season.
Walters is not in the first team picture with Burnley, which has led him to seek other options.
The 34-year-old could find a home for half the season at Portman Road, with Ipswich happy to bring him back to the club, per Sky Sports News.
Walters played for Ipswich from 2007 to 2010, making 146 appearances and scoring 32 goals in that time.
Walters joined Burnley last year from Stoke, but is now available after manager Sean Dyche indicated he was surplus to requirements.
