Burnley striker Andre Gray can see Rangers boss Mark Warburton ending up in the Premier League.

Warburton worked with Gray as Brentford manager.

When asked if he could see his old boss heading for an English Premier League club, Gray told the Daily Mail: "Definitely.

"I think it was his first job at Brentford and you saw how well he did there. He got us promoted from League One with a young team and made the play-offs in the Championship with a very small budget.

"He's come to Scotland, got to a few finals and won the league. I don't see why he can't make it to a big English club. He's still learning and he's only going to get better. Knowing him and Davie as I do, I'm sure they'll go all the way with Rangers."
