Burnley still waiting answer on Liverpool compensation for Ings

Burnley will discover on Tuesday as to how much compensation they are owed by Liverpool for Danny Ings.

Ings made a move to Liverpool from Burnley upon the expiration of his contract in the summer but the Clarets are entitled to receive a fee from the Reds as the striker was under the age of 24 during the time of the transfer.

As the two parties were unable to agree a fee, the case went to a tribunal and after nearly a year of deliberation, Burnley are finally set to discover what amount they will receive from the transfer for the striker.

It has been suggested that the compensation fee for Ings, who Liverpool value between £6million and £10million, will be the biggest tribunal claim in history.
