Burnley are ready to return for Middlesbrough centre-half Dael Fry.

The Clarets tried to sign the 6ft 4ins defender two years ago.

Boro boss Neil Warnock does not want to lose the 23-year-old, who has made 27 league appearances for the club.

According to the Daily Mail, Burnley believe Fry is ready to step up into the Premier League after six seasons in the Boro first-team.
