Burnley ready to cash in on Arsenal target Pope

Burnley are willing to listen to offers for Nick Pope.

The Sun says Tom Heaton is now Sean Dyche's No1 and has battled his way back into the Three Lions squad.

And Joe Hart, who has been on the bench since Boxing Day, looks likely to stay at Turf Moor beyond the end of the season.

Burnley are now set to listen to offers for Pope, who has attracted interest from Premier League clubs as he is a homegrown player for their squad list.

Pope has been linked with a move to Tottenham before, but the re-emergence of Paulo Gazzaniga at Spurs has ruled out the transfer.

But their bitter rivals Arsenal could now swoop in and offer the keeper an escape route as they seek replacement for retiring Petr Czech.
