Burnley have serious intentions to stay in the Premier League next season after promotion from the Championship.

The Clarets, managed by Vincent Kompany, won the second division at a canter last term.

However, Burnley do not want to underwhelm in their first season back in the Premier League.

The club have already started PRESEASON training, despite the season only finishing weeks ago.

A small group will train with Kompany and the coaches, as many players are away on international duty.

The players will get a break in between, but they will then jet off for a pre-season training camp and planned friendlies.
