Burnley open talks with Swansea for Sam Clucas

Burnley have opened talks with Swansea City for Sam Clucas.

The Mirror says Burnley are in talks with Swansea over a £12million deal for Clucas.

The Clarets made two failed bids for the midfielder last summer before he left Hull to join the Swans for £15m. Burnley boss Sean Dyche is now back in for the 27-year-old as he strengthens his squad for the Europa League.

Clucas played in 29 Premier League games last season as Swansea were relegated and the Welsh outfit are willing to listen to offers for him.

Dyche has so far been frustrated in his attempts to sign his two top summer targets Jay Rodriguez and Craig Dawson, with West Brom wanting £40m for the striker and defender.
