Burnley are not giving up in their push to sign Celtic's Ryan Christie this summer.

The Clarets are long time admirers of the Scottish star, and have made several tries to get him in the past.

Given his contract situation, Christie can sign a pre-contract with another team and move on a free transfer in January.

According to the Daily Record, another bid for Christie is likely to come from Burnley before the transfer window closes.

Whether they are willing to match Celtic's asking price for the 26-year-old is another matter, given they are aware of his contract situation with Ange Postecoglou's team.
