Burnley new boy Jimmy Dunne hoping to follow path of ex-Man Utd defender Keane

New Burnley signing Jimmy Dunne has expressed his desire to emulate former Manchester United defender Michael Keane.

Keane made a move from United to Burnley a couple of seasons ago and the defender's development has been so rapid at Turf Moor that he is now valued in excess of £15million.

Dunne has made a similar move from Old Trafford to Burnley and upon the completion of the deal, the 18-year-old has stated that he is hopeful of following in the footsteps of Clarets star Keane.

Dunne told the club's official website: "Michael Keane is someone I look at to try to improve and I haven't got talking to him yet but he's similar in terms of being tall and lean.

"He's been through a similar format at Manchester United so hopefully I can learn from him."
