Burnley midfielder Jack Cork: I hope Swansea stay up

Burnley midfielder Jack Cork is backing former club Swansea City to stay up.

Cork was on the losing side on Saturday at the Liberty.

Swans have taken 14 points from seven games under Carlos Carvalhal and have climbed out of the relegation zone under the former Sheffield Wednesday boss.

“They should do," said Cork when asked if he felt Carvalhal's men would stay up.

“It's the same thing as last season, a little bounce when the new manager comes in. The mentality changes and you can see that on the pitch now.

“The club has got a bit of momentum back again and I hope they stay up."
