Burnley make new swap bid for West Brom striker Rodriguez

West Bromwich Albion forward Jay Rodriguez remains a target for Burnley.

The Daily Mail says Burnley have made a fresh approach for Rodriguez and could include striker Sam Vokes in the deal.

Albion have so far rebuffed three offers from Burnley believed to be up to £16m. However, Sean Dyche, having signed Matej Vydra from Derby on Tuesday, has instigated new talks with Albion open to a deal that includes cash plus Vokes.

The 28-year-old Wales international is also wanted by Middlesbrough.
