Burnley have opted against signing trialist Ryan Viggars.
The Sheffield United U18s has been on trial with the Premier League club's development squad for two weeks.
LancsLive have revealed that the Clarets have not offered a contract to the Wales youth international.
That was despite the 17-year-old scoring a double in a win over Middlesbrough.
Viggars will now return to Bramall Lane to continue his development.
