Premier League new-boys Burnley have suffered an injury blow.

Clarets striker Sam Vokes has been ruled out for the rest of the year.

Vokes, who scored 20 goals in the Championship for Burnley before rupturing a cruciate ligament in his left knee last month, is not expected to be available until the second half of next season.
