Burnley have made an offer for Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson.

Sky Sports claim the bid is worth £12m.

The 25-year-old starred in the Premier League for Boro during the 2016/17 season. He has made 185 appearances for the Teeside club since joining in 2010.

He has also attracted interest from Everton, West Ham United and Leicester City.

The Clarets have yet to bring any new players this summer.
