Burnley have lodged a bid of £11.8m for Deportiva La Coruna forward Florin Andone, according to Sky Sports.

The Clarets are looking for a replacement for Andre Gray, who left for Watford last week.

Leeds United striker Chris Wood has been the subject of two bids from Burnley, both of which have been rejected.

Watford, Espanyol, Sporting Lisbon and Fiorentina have all targeted the Romania international, who scored 12 goals in 37 appearances last season.
