Burnley keeper Peacock-Farrell excited about Sheffield Wednesday move

Bailey Peacock-Farrell says his Sheffield Wednesday loan move is an opportunity to get his career back on track.

The Burnley goalkeeper has joined the Championship side on loan for the 2020/21 season, having made just four appearances last term.

"It was a discussion that happened at the end of the season with Burnley," Peacock-Farrell said.

"We both agreed that me playing some games was the most important thing, the same for Northern Ireland.

"I am just here to get my career back going to where it should be and to come and play some games.

"I still haven't lost the bigger picture, I am still a Burnley player and I am here to get better. It is going to work for both of us in terms of me playing some games.

"I started young and there was a gap of two seasons and I couldn't allow that to go any longer without playing any regular football. As a goalkeeper it is a rhythm and those decisions and saves you make become second nature.

"You can do everything in training but you can't replicate the 90 minutes, that amount of games is only going to benefit me."
