Burnley manager Sean Dyche has confirmed the club have handed a new contract to Scott Arfield, according to reports from the Croydon Advertiser.
Arfield's contract at Burnley expires at the end of the current season and as a result, the likes of Crystal Palace, West Ham and Brighton have all shown interest in signing the 29-year-old this month.
Burnley are still hopeful that Arfield will sign a new deal at Turf Moor though and Dyche has now confirmed that the club have offered the Canadian international a new deal.
