Burnley goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell interesting Bournemouth

Burnley goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell is interesting Bournemouth.

The Daily Mail says the Cherries were keen on Freddie Woodman but Newcastle may hang onto him following injury to their first-choice Martin Dubravka.

Dubravka had surgery last week on a foot injury picked up during the Euros and has admitted he is 'highly unlikely' to make the start of the season.

Doubts about the Woodman deal have prompted Bournemouth to consider alternatives with Peacock-Farrell one name in the frame.

He has been pushed down the Burnley pecking order following Wayne Hennessey's free transfer arrival at Turf Moor, with Nick Pope established as No 1.

Bournemouth allowed Asmir Begovic to join Everton this week, creating a vacancy in their group of goalkeepers.
