Burnley fullback Charlie Taylor says they go to Liverpool in good shape.
Taylor helped the Clarets win 1-0 at Anfield last season as Sean Dyche's men famously ended the champions' 68-match unbeaten home run in the Premier League.
“It was a special game. It was sort of mixed emotions for me as I got injured during the game but it didn't really dampen it for me," recalled Taylor to the club's website.
“It was a huge win and a huge result at the time and probably one that will go down in our history.
“They had a few big players out injured but take nothing away from our result. It was an incredible result and team performance.
“It proves it can be done and there's no reason why we can't repeat that, or at least get something from the game."
Taylor would love a repeat this time around as part of a formula for success.
“If we can repeat how we did last year away from home and improve our home form at the same time, we'll be set for a good season.
“I think that's the target; repeat how we did away from home last year and try and put a few more wins together at home.
“Hopefully now with the fans behind us that's doable."
