Burnley defender Michael Keane would prefer to move back to Manchester United over joining Liverpool, according to The Sun.

However, the report also claims that United would need to hurry up if they want to sign their former defender as the Reds are also actively pursuing the 24-year-old.

Keane, who progressed through United ranks and moved to Burnley in 2015, has emerged as one the best defenders in the country this season.

He is currently valued by the Clarets at £25m.
