Burnley defender Jimmy Dunne excited about playing for Sunderland fans

Burnley defender Jimmy Dunne is excited about his loan move to Sunderland.

Dunne followed up a solid stint for Accrington Stanley during their League Two title-winning campaign by moving to Hearts, for whom he played 14 times before injury cut short his stay in Scotland last month.

Now, following treatment back at Turf Moor, Burnley boss Sean Dyche has allowed him move to Sunderland for the rest of the season. Sunderland are the best-supported side in the third tier.

"I didn't have anything to think about," said the former Manchester United apprentice. "There were 46,000 people at a recent home game and that just grabs you. It's a massive club and it was a no-brainer for me."
