Burnley defender Ben Mee is on the brink of reaching a 100 per cent season in the Premier League.
His target is to finish the season having played every minute of every game, having already done it 35 times in the Premier League so far.
Mee told the Mirror: “I want to complete every minute of the season this year which would be a really nice achievement for me. I think as I've grown older, I know how to manage my body as well, credit to the physios here who have been fantastic and hopefully I'll get to do it.
“It'll be good to compete against these teams coming up. Man City, the best team in the league, they're going for it with Liverpool at the minute and these are the games where you compete and see where you're at as a professional.
“I've got a lot of friends still at City, sadly Bernard Halford passed away recently and he was a really good bloke, top man at the club and there's still some there. There will be plenty of family there."
