Burnley have upped their offer for Championship Derby midfielder Jeff Hendrick, according to Sky sources.

The Clarets had their original bid - reportedly £3m - rejected earlier this month, but have returned with an improved offer for the 24 year old Republic of Ireland international.

It is understood that Burnley have offered cash, along with two of their defenders - James Tarkowski and Tendayi Darikwa - who would move to the Ipro Stadium on loan.
