Burnley scraped past Istanbul Basaksehir in the UEFA Europa League qualifying round to seal a play-off spot in the competition.

They will now face off against Olympiacos for a chance to play in the competition proper this fall.

Burnley struggled for much of the game, unable to break down their stubborn opponents.

It took an extra time goal from Jack Cork to settle the game in the home side's favour.

Cork's 97th minute goal was the only goal of the two legs, as he smashed the top corner with a solid strike.
