Sean Dyche believes Jeff Hendrick is adapting well to life at Burnley.
The Clarets splashed a club-record £10.5million to lure the Republic of Ireland international from Derby County in the summer.
Hendrick scored his first goal for Burnley in Monday night's 2-0 win over Watford and Dyche suggests the 24-year-old midfielder is only getting better and better in each of the three Premier League matches he has played.
"I think Jeff Hendrick did really well for us tonight," said the boss.
"He is still learning about the group and getting familiar with the players and glue that together with some players who have been here for a while and delivered performances for us over the years and we think it is a good mixture.
"I am not sure how far it can take us, but we are certainly up for the challenge."
The victory, Burnley's second of the season, allowed them to move up to 13th place on the table with seven points from six matches.
