Burnley boss Sean Dyche: Very tough day - especially for Leicester players

Burnley boss Sean Dyche will take the point on an emotional day at Leicester City.

Dyche admitted that what mattered most was honouring the memory and paying tribute to former Leicester City chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who was killed, along with four others, in a helicopter crash outside the ground a fortnight ago.

“It was really tough, particularly for Leicester and their players," said Dyche, who had been at the game two weeks ago.

“It was difficult for all. It's been a challenging week and tough for them to prepare but they gave everything and we had to try and match that. We did that to get a good point and clean sheet.

“But it's strange. It's rare that I think this, but the result really is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things after what's happened. The result is not as big as the moment.

“The game was more about a show of respect from the Leicester people for, unfortunately, an owner who has passed away."
