Burnley boss Laws admits whirlwind final days of winter market

Burnley boss Brian Laws admits the final days of the winter market were a whirlwind.

The Clarets chief snapped up Danny Fox, Jack Cork, Leon Cort and Frederic Nimani in the transfer window after the quartet convinced him they had the X Factor.

But he revealed he spoke to several more players before settling on the new faces he wanted to shine at Turf Moor.

Laws said: "It's been an incredible few days, particularly because we've got to try to do the business diligently and quickly.

"It's been like a revolving door - players coming in, coming out, having a chat. Next!

"But I've been giving them a little bit more time than Simon Cowell would have.

"It's been enjoyable as well. The ones we've been talking to, every one of them wants to come here. That's a real positive."
