Burnley boss Sean Dyche is prepared to see Tom Heaton leave in January.

The England goalkeeper admitted he could be forced to go elsewhere with Joe Hart ahead of him in Dyche's plans.

Dyche said, "I thought he spoke very well because he's a fantastic professional.

"That's why he's club captain. He's just being realistic. Me and Tom go back a long way – he was my first signing here.

"We've got an open dialogue. He's been very unfortunate. Whatever needs to be worked out, we will find a way of working it out. He knows he's got a future here, it's just about what is right for him."
