Burnley boss Sean Dyche insists Joe Hart is not his outright No1 ahead of today's clash with Manchester United.
Hart is expected to reclaim the goalkeeper's jersey despite Tom Heaton impressing in midweek. But Dyche insists he doesn't see either England international as having cemented the spot for the season, with Nick Pope still to return from injury.
"I don't have a number one goalkeeper," insisted Dyche. "It's your job as a professional to make sure you are that player. It's their job to convince me, not the other way round.
"Tom Heaton had not really had any real football and he's now had two games. So he's got his eye in and that feeling of playing. Popey has work to do to come back. But I think it's brilliant. There is always competition.
"After that performance against Olympiacos, you could argue there are people competing all over the pitch. That is what you want as a manager."
