Burnley boss Sean Dyche was delighted with his defence for their 2-0 defeat at Manchester City.
Although Burnley failed to keep a clean sheet, it was another impressive defensive performance from 20 year-old Nathan Collins after his debut at Norwich City last time out.
Dyche said: “The two centre-halves were both outstanding.
“It is a learning curve for Nathan, I said that before the game. He has a really good attitude and the way he is learning and adapting to the group.
“Tarky (James Tarkowski) was outstanding again. But yeah, it is good signs for Nathan - he is learning and learning well.
“It is not easy coming to these parts and he just got on with it, nice and calmly. He has a good attitude, and I'm really impressed.
“He is still relatively young as well but continues to be a good player for us."
