Burnley boss Dyche finds player positives in Chelsea defeat

Burnley boss Sean Dyche found positives in defeat to Chelsea on Sunday.

The big positive on the day for Burnley was Robbie Brady coming through his first game since last December. Brady was thrust into the starting line-up following an illness to Aaron Lennon and completed the 90 minutes alongside Belgian midfielder Steven Defour.

Dyche said: “It was great to see Robbie out there and getting 90 minutes, which wasn't part of the plan.

“We were hoping he might get 70, but with Jack (Cork) going off injured with a rolled ankle he had to stay out there and he will benefit form that and get stronger.

“Also, Steven got his first full 90, so we are pleased with that because the more fit people we have, the better the competition for places."
