Burnley boss Sean Dyche is desperate to keep hold of Tom Heaton.

The Sun says Dyche is fighting to keep skipper Heaton at Turf Moor.

The 33-year-old has another year to run on his current contract and rejected a new deal putting Watford on red alert.

He would cost around £5million and the club may be forced to cash in or risk losing their experienced keeper for nothing next May.

But Dyche still hopes to persuade Heaton to pen new terms.
