Burnley boss Sean Dyche has played down the prospect of a busy January market.
The Clarets in the process of being sold, but Dyche doesn't expect any extra funds next month.
After victory over Sheffield United, he said: "We have to get appropriate players, but when everyone's fit we're not that far short.
"It's just that with the injuries and the stretched squad that we have, it's made it way more difficult this season. If the right players at the right prices come along, that's always been the way the club works. Obviously I don't know what news is coming, but if that does change I'll wait and see – but that doesn't make it easy.
"The January window is still very difficult."
