Burnley boss Dyche confirms Pope 'touch and go' for Liverpool clash

Burnley boss Sean Dyche offered several fitness updates as his team welcomes Liverpool on Wednesday.

The two sides go head to head in the Premier League, with the Clarets getting to play in front of a reduced crowd for their penultimate game of the season.

As Liverpool chase a top four spot, Burnley and Dyche are simply hoping to end the season on a positive note.

He gave updates on keeper Nick Pope, Dale Stephens, Phil Bardsley, Kevin Long and Bobby Brady.

The Clarets boss said: "Nick Pope is touch and go, Dale Stephens and Phil Bardsley both had operations and will miss it, and Kevin Long and Robbie Brady are both still unavailable."
