Burnley boss Owen Coyle admits his January market plans are fluid.
Coyle says they're already working on targets, though things could change if injuries occur.
Coyle said: "We're always looking ahead but, like anything else, we won't know because between now and January things will crop up and different situations might arise.
"But what we will do is make sure we do our work and preparation for that for when it comes about.
"There are different irons in the fire.
"But other things will come into it - availability, finance, injuries and suspensions.
"Funds will be tight, funds are always tight. That's nothing new to us, but we don't get stroppy about these kinds of things.
"We deal with it head on as best we can and we try to do the best for the football club."
