Owen Coyle believes Mark Hughes is the right man to lead Manchester City into the top four but is still confident Burnley can upset the odds on Saturday. Despite their dreadful record away form Clarets boss Coyle is confident his side can compete with City on the pitch.

"Mark is very talented as he has shown," he said. "He has got the finance and huge wealth at his disposal.

"But at times he hasn't [had the money]. He has worked hard and made his name as he is very good at what he does.

"He has brought in world-class players and is now trying to get his team to gel. That is the beauty or Burnley going there. We have to show we can compete - and we can."
